SIDENOR is the largest manufacturer in Spain of special steels, forgings and castings, as well as one of the main manufacturers of drop forging pieces. They also offer a wide range of rolled, cold finished and forged products, obtained from several steel qualities. Main role within the project

SIDENOR will lead WP5 and will be the end-user of the steel sector and is responsible for the demonstration of the pilot plant for use-case 1 (Digitalising the steel plant). SIDENOR will do analysis of the plant and define the requirements (WP1), define and integrate sensors and visualisation approaches (WP4) and contribute to the development of contents and modules for digitalising the process industry (WP6).
